Find your retreat
This weekend workshop is designed for writers at all levels, whether you already think of yourself as a “writer” or simply have a desire to shape pieces of your life experience into stories you can share with others.
In this interactive, hands-on small-group experience, we will:
✔ Share snapshots of our life journeys as gay and bisexual men
✔ Read excerpts from established writers, including gay writers such as Augusten Burroughs and Kevin Sessums
✔ Loosen up our writing muscles through fun, accessible exercises
✔ Explore how memory, humor, vulnerability, and personal truth can become compelling stories
✔ Receive supportive feedback on our work
✔ Develop an action plan to keep writing and express our creativity in the world
Whether you want to write essays, memoir, performance pieces, blog posts, or simply begin telling your story more clearly, this workshop offers a supportive space to begin, continue, or deepen your creative practice.
Scholarships are available for retreats produced directly by Easton Mountain. If money is the only thing standing between you and a week on the mountain, reach out — we want you here.
